The Behaviour Package

For the dog who is struggling - and the owner who is, too

Living with a dog who lunges at every passing dog, panics when you leave the house, guards their food, or simply cannot settle is exhausting.

The Behaviour Package is for the more complex challenges, the ones that one-off advice and online videos have not fixed. Rather than papering over the symptoms, we work out why the behaviour is happening in the first place, and we change it from there.

Kind, clear, and built on understanding

Reactivity, fear and aggression are almost never "a bad dog." They are an emotional response - usually fear, frustration or stress. Change how the dog feels, and the behaviour changes with it.

Behaviour work begins with a proper assessment of what your dog is feeling and why - not a quick fix slapped over the top.

From there we use kind, reward-based methods that build your dog's confidence and teach them to make better choices, alongside sensible management so the problem behaviour stops being rehearsed.

After more than twenty years reading dogs at every level, Aaron can see the subtle signals most people miss - the stress that builds long before the bark or the lunge.

What we can help with

  • Reactivity towards dogs, people, vehicles or other triggers
  • Barking and over-arousal
  • Lunging and pulling on walks
  • Fear and anxiety
  • Resource guarding
  • Separation-related behaviour
  • Poor impulse control and difficulty settling at home
  • Frustration and over-excitement
  • Confidence-building for nervous and rescue dogs

What you get

  • A detailed assessment of your dog's behaviour, history and environment
  • A personalised, written behaviour and training plan
  • Management strategies to prevent the unwanted behaviour being practised
  • Structured, achievable training exercises you can build on
  • A series of one-to-one sessions shaped around your dog's needs
  • Ongoing support and guidance throughout the programme

Investment

Behaviour work is the most involved training we offer, because lasting change with a struggling dog takes proper time and skill.

Weigh it against the alternative: years of stressful walks, avoided situations, the cost to your own wellbeing, and a dog who never gets to feel calm.
